These terms and conditions apply to the use of our online sweet shop and the selling of our products to you.
Please take a moment to read through the following information, and if you have any questions or queries, relating to anything, please contact us before you place an order. Otherwise we will assume that any person using and ordering from our website are deemed to understand and accept our terms and conditions.

Allergy Advice & Ingredients

Please be aware that not all of the sweets offered on the store are manufactured and packaged in environments where nuts may be present. We and cannot therefore guarantee that any sweets supplied by us are free of nuts and nut traces.
We try our best to provide the ingredients information on all of our sweets, however on some occasions we may not include this information. If you require ingredients on any specific items, then please contact us.
Please note that the ingredients on this website are provided from manufacturers’ packaging and lists, and we cannot be held responsible for their content.
Sweetbox Direct reserves the right to use alternative manufacturers for all sweets , and therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients listed will match exactly those sent previously.

Delivery of Products and Timescales

We aim to get your sweets posted to you as soon as possible, and in the best manner possible. All orders are sent out within 48 hours, (usually within 24 hours) of receipt and should arrive to you within 2-3 working days. We however cannot guarantee this during busy periods and seasonal fluctuations.
The items will be posted to the delivery address provided. It is however your responsibility to provide us with accurate delivery information as we will not check or verify addresses.
Whilst items sent by Royal Mail usually arrive after 3 working days of dispatch from us, Royal Mail states that only items still not delivered after 15 working days can be officially classified as lost. If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time, please contact us.
We cannot guarantee a specific delivery timescale unless you get in contact with us prior to placing your order.

International Shipping

We are unfortunately not able to post our items via International delivery at this present time.

Quality

Sweetbox Direct only stocks the best quality products , and we will ensure that all products are within their best before date. However we cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by climatic conditions or transportation once the goods have left our premises.

Liability

If the products you receive are not what you ordered, are defective or incorrect quantity, please contact us and will investigate and remedy
For example:

  • Make good any shortage or non-delivery
  • Supply and deliver substitute goods
  • Replace any defective goods
  • Refund or do a partial refund at our own discretion
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused through postage such as climatic conditions affecting the product. We make sure that all items are in perfect condition before they are sent to you. If your parcel does arrive in a poor condition, please contact us.
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill).
We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the products in question.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this store meet your specific requirements.

Out of Stock Items

Should an item be out of stock, we will contact you to confirm whether you would like the missing item:

  • Substituting 
  • Dispatching when back in stock
  • Cancelling
Sweetbox Direct may also choose to cancel any sale or not supply products (if it is reasonable to do so). We may also change or discontinue products at any time. Any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Returns Policy

We offer a comprehensive returns policy. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your items, please follow the returns procedure below. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to exchange goods or provide refunds.
Please be aware that Sweetbox Direct cannot be held responsible and hence provide refunds/exchanges on stock affected by circumstances beyond our control. This includes damage or neglect after goods are received, goods being stored in climatic conditions (extremes of temperature) and damage by third parties – however we will seek to get compensation in this instance.
In addition please be aware that during particularly hot spells of weather goods in transit can be affected by extreme heat so please be aware items of a delicate nature such as chocolate may not always look as pictured, but they will still taste the same.

Returns Procedure

Please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of your order:
  1. Once we have replied to your message , goods must be returned within 7 days by Tracked post. (Note – if Sweetbox Direct are at fault we will of course also refund your postage costs )
  2. Goods returned should be in their original condition and packaging in which they arrived.
  3. Once received, items will be checked and refunds on goods and postage arranged where applicable. Due the perishable nature of goods , we cannot issue refunds on unwanted goods which have been opened. Refunds/exchanges will only be offered on items that are faulty, and were clearly so at the time at which they were dispatched.

Note: You will be responsible for the returned products until they reach us.
We will only accept goods for return/refund/exchange if supplied by us , and will only refund the costs of fair return postage and original sale price of goods. No additional compensation will be available on goods returned other than that already stated, as Sweetbox Direct are not responsible for any costs or losses incurred after costs of goods and returned postage.
We always strive to be fair and just when dealing with genuine issues our customers may face.
